It has been a while since my last post. I apologize if you have been checking in on the blog faithfully to find nothing new. As you know the last few weeks have been busy as usual. Do continue to check in regularly as I hope to post homework and reminders more regularly.
Students: feel free to add comments at the end of posts if I have forgotten a reminder or a homework item.

Learning:
Yes, we do a lot of this too!
- Grade 6 and 7 students are working on their speech for Concours.
- Weekly Dictées- Every Monday, students are now receiving their Dictée on a small piece of paper, which each student clips inside his/her agenda. Every Wednesday, we will do a pre-test. Every Friday, students will have the 'post-test,' or the dictée that counts for marks.
- Français langue- grade 6s are working on Passé Composé (the past tense). Students should finish the new worksheet on Etre and Avoir in the Passé Composé by Wednesday, February 23rd.
- Français langue-grade 7s are reading the book, 'Le Petit Nicolas.' We are about half-way through. We plan to watch the newly released film in French when we have finished reading this book.
